The benefits to swimming are fairly well known: strengthens the whole body, low-impact cardio activity, builds confidence, water safety, etc. For various reasons (injury, illness, religion, disability, unsafe to have all students in pool at one time, etc.) there are occasions when access to a swimming pool is not available. This session will introduce and actively engage participants in land activities that can be used during a swim unit when a pool is unavailable.
